In 1973, Ricoh pioneered bi-pitch laminated piezo actuator printhead technology, enabling even, accurate control of ink droplets. This technology is the foundation of the printheads used throughout our inkjet portfolio. Forward to 2018, when Ricoh introduced the world to the RICOH Pro VC70000, which featured original drying techniques and went on to win industry awards. First beta site in the U.S.
In November 2022, Ricoh announced that Heeter installed the first RICOH Pro Z75 B2 sheet-fed inkjet press in its newly unveiled Digital Print Center. As the first beta site, Heeter has moved offset work to this future-defining technology, producing higher print quality faster with fewer demands on staff, helping to overcome the workforce challenges felt across the print industry.
